Current hot topic is that Ryanair will be reducing new captains basic salary to £40,000ish from £53,000. SFO grades scrapped. My 5/4 roster uses 12 annual leave days from April 1 to 31 July each year. Upgrades at Ryan are very difficult and not just a quick 6 months in the left seat. There is no Fast track 'cos you are just another FO.
However it's not such a bad place to work. Good crews and aircraft. Just hope that i can afford the ongoing paycuts each year.
