Fujairah
Just to clarify the situation at Fujairah. The 29,000AED per month was hoped for but didn't arrive. Present max is 25,000AED including accomodation allowance (4,000AED - enough for a very large two bedroom modern apartment) medical cover and other allowances. Staffing levels are now full with the seven controllers that have just arrived.
Cost of living in FUJ is very, very low compared to DXB.
FUJ is TWR / APP Procedure at the moment. Radar is up and running and hopefully controllers will be using it as APR in 2008.
