The actual truth re the TCX/MYT contract for next summer at BHX is that the airline is only now starting to put the contract out to tender to ALL handling agents at BHX.
I know for a fact from the regional manager for TCX that they do not want to switch agents at BHX and as they are the major force in this merger then they will probably hold sway but it is all down to price but as to the fact they have already signed with Swissport that's rubbish as no contracts have been even negotiated yet.
And as to the fact they wanted to switch when FLYbe moved, again just a load of jackanory as this has not been the case at all. All airlines routinely tender for their contracts at renewal time to get the best deal and this was the case in this instance.
