THEY are irreplaceable, THEY actually generate all the profit, THEY keep the money flowing. THEY
have to be paid that much to attract the TALENT, to be competitive with all the other companies who pay their execs those amounts, because they work hard and THEY deserve it, because without them and "without the shareholders, we would be all out of a job."
