I think Jet2 are becomming the 'jewel in the crown' of low cost carriers...
WHY?
* Jet2 have slowly built up their fleet, consistently and in keeping pace
with demand.
* Using the right aircraft for the route in question.
* Having the aircraft work day and night might not be ideal, but it brings in
money and by having the right people at the helm, especially in Flt Ops and
Flt Planning, and Engineering this usually isnt a problem for the day flights.
* Concentrating on their own market. UK / European destinations.
This is the reason why Jet2 differ from other low-costs, and why Jet2 will be a success.
Expansion will no doubt follow but with caution and when it does, it will also be successful.
