if easyjet could operate out of manchester,the liverpool operation would collapse,as most of the passengers travel long distance to fly from liverpool.there are a finite number of passengers,2 airports in close proximity would result in half full flights !the sale of GB just confirms the consolidation in the UK locost airline operation.too many airlines competing for too few passengers.this will not be the last merger or failure for that matter.
