I'm curious to know what you thought of Geoff Hurst's "goal" against Germany in the '66 World Cup final to go 3-2 up in injury time. Do you think the whole ball crossed the line? Or for that matter, ANY of the ball?(Feel free to refer to any of at least a dozen clips of the "goal" on youtube to jog the old memory)
Remember, that was for a World Cup as well. In light of the damning evidence of the above photograph, you can count yourselves bloody lucky that football does not take advantage of a TMO, otherwise you would only have 2003 to reminisce about.
