Inspite of your comments about us being lucky not to face France in the Final, you sound like a rather intelligent chap.
Now, were an intelligent and knowledgable gentleman to be a betting man, he may well have placed some money on the 2007 World Cup.
In order to come out on top with the bookies he would in all likelyhood have bet on Australia because that would be a safe bet. He could also bet on France as they had home side advantage and we know that they can always pull the cat out of the bag. He would definately bet on South Africa because they are playing really well at the moment. He certainly wouldn't bet on New Zealand as we all know that they do not have an impressive World cup track record and he sure as hell wouldn't bet on England because their performance has been dismal in the run up to the World Cup.
Now, had he bet carefully on the above mentioned sides he probably would have walked away with enough money to go out and buy himself an England rugby jersey. He wouldn't even have had to win very much as they are probably being sold very cheaply from today!!!!
