Not too sure about the Metro. However to my knowledge they are short, or will be at all the bases. As for the Westwind, there about at least three of the senior WW captains leaving shortly so that will mean there are 3 FO slots available being conservative. People are leaving from SY and DN. As a new arrival you could expect to spend time (probably 4 - 6 weeks) in DN initially regardless of basing until checked to line. This is simply due to flight frequency and consolidation. Once checked to line you return to SY if applicable. If you are interested consider calling Pel-Air sydney office (Westwind) and ask to speak to Wally - The Chief Pilot of both the Westwind and Metro fleets.
