Because I will be working for a British company! I am not trying to oppose any UK laws.

Is it actually accepted to work with a temporary NI-number? According to HMRC they no longer accept temporary national insurance numbers. But, it would put me at ease if I would be able to work on a temporary one as I could sort everything out once in the UK. It's a lot easier than trying to sort everything out here.

That is also my hope but I never seem to get to speak to the right people in the company. Apparently it's a simple procedure if the company would apply on your behalf
