I'm waiting for their
Eee PC - small, cheap, robust, silly name. No Windows bloat, so it boots quickly, runs cool, and a 2GB solid state drive is plenty (though I'll probably get the 4GB model).
I walk to university and back, and will be taking notes in lectures. so I don't want or need a "desktop replacement" that weighs a ton, sounds like an APU, takes a minute to load a PDF (under Windows Vista), and cooks my sweetmeats if I use it on my lap.
