An MPL, which is primarily for Jet aircraft anyway would then leave cadets once out of REX in a bad situation as they have a SAAB 340 endorsement and this then means more money having to be forked out to join an airline. Jeps, this is exactly why I think they would prefer the MPL path. Part of their problem is retaining their pilots coz many are jumping ship for better terms and conditions .. and better quality uniforms (orange coloured ties?? Come on Rex management, where's your fashion sense???
). Having their cadets train for the MPL would mean less chance for that to happen, as it leaves the cadets with few options but to work their way up the ladder with the one operator that sponsored their training.
