The 'flybefree zone' is wishful thinking I suppose. Unfortunately, and if you had read my post properly rather than leap to defend flybe, you would see that I do infact work for them, I too have bills to pay and prior to the aquisition I absolutely loved my job and found it a pleasure to go to work. I now just enjoy it, mainly because I work with a group of professional people who really try and make the best of things and do a good job in sometimes difficult circumstances. I don't feel I have the same back up, I don't feel pax are getting a good deal and I have certainly noticed a change in pax attitudes towards crew. Yes, all employment has its problems but I feel we have more than our fair share at the moment. I am not trying to stir things up - merely expressing my opinion - I don't know what job you actually do but I would say certainly on a day to day basis we certainly do have a touch more than 'the smallest thing' happen.
Grow up and accept not everyone is wearing your rose tinted glasses!
