Very interesting etymology of the term "Redneck"...
Mostly referring to People of Scot's heritage who came to North America - Canada and the United States - and worked hard to make something of the land... Outside, working the land, the back of the their necks got red and leathery from the sun.
Call me a Redneck and I take it to mean I'm a hard working guy that doesn't mind getting his hands dirty, outside, getting the job done...
