'cos the last pilot used a longer line, and spent ages trying to get the platform in place! The outward slope of the cooling tower made for a bit of 'needle threading' getting the legs on correctly, as the platform could only go on one way. The construction of the thing required it to be put on from the outside, against the slope: I had more control with a shorter line, especially when the load spun and had to be nudged around to line up
