It is very sad and exasperating that such practices continue all this while. I believe that Malaysians turn a blind eye to such nonsense out of " fear of trouble ". Fear of retribution by corrupt officials, law enforcement people as well as fellow citizens due to the racial factor. Malay law enforcement officers always go all out to protect their own people and make an report of corruption as an attack on bumi supremacy. The average Chinese will try to " buy " themselves out of trouble with law enforcement; those who do not do so are automatically labelled as possible " opposition DAP inspired " and blacklisted as trouble makers to be punished or " visited " by the dreaded SB. The Indians, Geragaus, Orang Asli, Ibans, Kadazans and others are treated like no hopers to be thrown some scraps every now and then for humour. This sorry state of affairs is result of a kind of " fear " perpetrated by hidden forces with their not so covert agenda......likewise the same sad state of affairs in MAS.
