there is a nice school in brisbane area called aeropower, is not in archerfield (don't remember the name of the airfield) but they are quite good.
About the conversion to UK
... i'm from spain and facing the same dilema, in australia you get a cpl with say... 125 or even 105 hours but in europe you need 185 wich of those you need to do at least 30 hours in europe, plus for them to recognice the hours from a country outside europe takes a wee while, that's why i'm not even thinking to find a job in europe at the moment
