It's like the mounting anecdotal evidence that QF thought it had plenty of people falling over themselves to wait on the hold file only to find that, recently, some job offers have been declined because pilots have started on Oz-based F/O contracts with better-than-S/O money and prospects. I agree that the potential expat returnees will mostly expect significantly better than the current J* 'package' to seriously entertain job acceptance, and they can hold their decisions until quite late in the 787 delivery schedule.
