Unfortunately, that has not been my own experience.
I tried contacting the folks at Kentigern House three months ago as required and followed up twice. No response. Zilch. I contacted the Veterans Administration but they could only give me the same details as those above, and I'd already tried contacting them there. I could phone from Borneo but at a quid a minute, the "hold" is damned frustrating and I gave up after fifteen quid. They've got my AFPS Form 8 and the pension and lump sum was due last week. I'm on home leave later this month and can try chasing them up then. They probably think 'Darussalam' is in Tanzania - either that or they've done a runner with the money...
