To be fair, I think it's great to be proud of your employer, and when it's Ryanair there's plenty to be proud about when you look at their year on year growth and performance. I suppose the main reason Ryanair is taking over this thread, is because Ryanair are taking over the airport. The main issue for a lot of people at the airport is how everyone is going to react to their growth, will they do what has been done in the past and shy away or try to fight back. I love working for bmibaby, and if we were doing really well and adding new routes here, there and everywhere, I'd be the first to shout about it. What tiny town have to do, and maybe consider it as a move for the two ex-Air One aircraft we're getting, is put these to use to fight our corner, not run away screaming a la MJV, PSA, DUB, BCN etc. But history shows us that this will not be the case ...
