Basically the way things are going in the British Isles outside London is you will have Ryanair airports and non-Ryanair airports. Prestwick is one, Shannon has become one this week will EMA become one time will tell
I couldn't agree with you more. Shannon is a perfect example. FR came and everone else left. When Aer Lingus close SNN-LHR in January this will leave only 1 other carrier to the UK or Europe, Centralwings. There are no other carriers left besides FR. Give EMA a year or two and it'll be in the same situation. FR can then do what they like and tell the airport how they want things done and EMA will have no choice but to follow orders.
