All the Gulf Air 767-300's have CF6-80C2B4 engines with a thrust rating of 57,900 so this is sunstantially more than 40,000. Thomsonfly's 767-300's have CF6-80C2B7F engines with a thrust rating of 60,800 and they have managed to get off LBA to the US/Caribbean fine. It has been mensioned else where that two of the 9 GF 767's have been bought by Jet2 and the rest are going to Ethiad for cargo
Does the 3,000 ibs of thrust make much difference considering the runway etc?
I was thinking bout the ex MYT 763's that are due to leave their fleet in November (apparently) has anyone heard where they are destined for? (im just putting 2 + 2 and getting 5 here)
