Its one of the government's new e-petitions requesting that a proper financial support system be set up to enable pilots to train.
Here is the blurb from the petition:
“Unlike Lawyers, Doctors and University undergraduates etc. Pilots lack the necessary support and funding needed to train as pilots and gain the amount of experience needed to obtain their first job. I think the Government should back a drive to assist with funding for Pilot training in the form of student loans or something similar in the way university students are helped with their choice of career. Why not Pilots?”
Take a look, if you agree with it there is no harm in signing it! At the time of posting there were only 194 signatures, surely more people than that think this is a good idea.
