Lee,
Ryanair arent competing with GB any more. They wont be back for the winter season, and with 5 flights a week with Thomsonfly Scheduled and the 1 weekly flights with First Choice, Mytravel and Thomas Cook with a possable XL.com flight also, thats going to be a serious competition route with nearly 14 flights per week. Will Ryanair suffer???? i doubt it. They are strong and cheap so doubt it. I have booked myself and partner to Tenerife and booking a flight and hotel seperate, its costing me £98 Half Board inc flights stopping at the Noelia Sur in Las Americas. No tour operator can compete with thos fares. Thomson for same hotel asking for £400 for the same week.
