Not sure I'd want to be using the left rear slide in this situation though!
Hopefully, anyone with some presence of mind would have deduced that it would be better to gingerly creep out a bit on the slide and then step off to the seawall.
On the other hand, maybe the six folk who were hurt weren't thinking along those lines...
It's indeed impressive that the aeroplane could drive in like that apparently unscathed. One wonders if they were able to extract it without bending or breaking something, though!
