True, but you could experiment with LAHSO runway 18:
"Clear to land runway 18, hold short runway 11..."
That would make it somewhat more sporting.
I've seen Nomads and DC3s landing on 18 turn off onto the old 'disused'. It cost me a beer the first time I saw it done
