Well said, well said. However, I lived in Japan and after the anal training was just like any other airline. I stayed 14 years and hardly ever ate sushi (can't stand seaweed). If I had not gotten old and the contracts expired, I would still be there. I think I can confidently speak for the other crews that lived and worked there.
You are also right about seniority but there are an awful lot of Fed Ex pilots. I am not sure of the actual number but it is over 5000.
I will say one thing for anyone wanting to work for Fed Ex; you will not find a better company to work for.
