EMA is my nearest airport. When going somewhere I don't even bother pricing flights out of STN, no real good public transport options and drive is too much hassle. Will look at BHX, MAN first and even LTN. LPL is getting attractive now with the new FR base there, got some good deals and a reasonable straightforward trip there. It would take a very good reason to get me to go to STN, I'd take the train to LGW first.
While I'm here, EMA needs to get security sorted. Starting to get ridiculous at peak times, on occasion it takes longer for me to get through security that get to the airport. If all these welcome expansions are coming along then they need to sort that out. Quiet times are extremely good, but needs resourcing for all periods.
