No comments on Easy's choice of destination from BHX?
I know people who have used the EMA service from the West Mids, isn't
there a danger of diluting yields? I know Ryanair have done exactly the
same with Shannon and with so many "holes" in the BHX route network
surely better routes could have been chosen?
Don't get me wrong, I am extremely happy at the Easy announcement
but out of the three slot requests, Geneva I thought was the least likely.
I have always been amazed at Easy's EMA load factors especially
Cologne (compared to HLX at BHX), Venice and Rome but the lack
of growth at EMA makes one think that not much money is or has
been made.
Suddenly though it all looks very good for the Midlands.
My hope is that EMA have FR and BHX have Easy with baby at both.
