Wannabe ATCO
Hi,
Back in January I failed the stage one selection tests for a NATS Trainee ATCO position, and unable to gain feedback I can only try again next year. Since then I have been on the hunt for a job as an Air Traffic Control Assistant or a job in ground ops with the hope of gaining further valuable aviation related experience.
However, after sending out tons of letters to airport managers and air traffic control units I am not having much luck. I recently found a job as baggage handler which I will apply for whilst continuing the hunt, and I recently visited a NATS establishment.
I would therefore appreciate any ideas on where else to try for jobs, or things I could be doing to put me in a better position of passing all stages next year.
