since i have only been to kathmandu as slf
on a sq A310 i cannot really comment as to
how hairy it is, but i have heard there is
a 4500m mountain somewhere in the flightpath
that aircraft have to fly over (the 727 a couple of years ago didn't and flew strait into it)
