Fool's Ode
My name is Tricky Dicky,
I was the Ops director
I really should have listened,
But instead I gave a lecture.
I made comments of my trainers,
now they've told me not to meddle
So I've written them a letter,
In order to back peddle.
I never said a thing you guys,
It really is absurd
It's just those BALPA militants,
They're are stiring up the turd.
My boss is Tim O'Leary,
who claimed to know the feeling
but one visit to the crew room,
has left the bugger reeling.
So he's written to the pilots,
this time without the threats
Will he stop them striking,
I'll not be taking bets.
"It's been a big mistake chaps,
I never knew at all
Richard didn't tell me,
Coz he hasn't got the balls".
"Please think about my bonus,
whilst you watch the airline grow
you fund it with your wages,
as if you didn't know".
"I know I could stop the ballot,
By increasing the pay offers
But by making hollow promises,
It doesn’t hit the coffers".
What will happen now Tim?,
we'll give you just one guess
Your bonus is in danger
Coz we'll all be ticking YES!
