Easy's policy is to promote from within. But, due to the high number of cadets, there will always be a requirement for DEC's to keep the average experience levels sufficiently high.

In defence of the recruiment department they do have a huge task and I'm sure that errors do occur and applications get lost. Whilst it may be a pain to have to keep applying - well that's what you have to do. The advantage of re-applying is that you KNOW that your new application will get looked at as opposed to being number XXX towards the bottom of the ever increasing pile. The fact that there are so many applications says a lot about the attractivness of eJ as an employer.

If you want to fly very modern equipment, with excellent training, in an expanding airline with potential for rapid Command - then having to re-apply doesn't seem like such a chore as some would suggest...... or is it me?
