I agree - that was my first thought. It was confirmed however that it was in the aircraft the following day.
Several people have since messaged me with information. I now have a good idea of who took it and this is my last warning to the thief.
If the unit is not returned by Wednesday this week, I will be passing the information I have been given onto the police. A police record never looks good on any pilots resumee.
I understand that maybe it was taken by accident and forgotten about, you have my word that if it is returned by Wednesday no charges will be laid. I think this is more than fair, as I have better things to do with my time then front up at court and hear some sob story.
And thanks to all those who passed on information to me. I will of course honor the $200 to the person(s) who gave me information that gets the unit returned there have been a few so I may have to split it between you - I will ask the police which piece of information was the most valuable.
