The "storm window" was in fact an emergency exit window (second row right hand side) from the RACWA Partenavia. Nice little lever just under the window for the pax to play with in flight.
Agree about the comments to Timmy, but after the ill informed comments by Mr Gibson and the article in the paper about a "GLASS" window, its really par for the course.
But for the all time classic drop, remember the AIM 7 Sparrow missile that came off a Hornet in Darwin. Sure killed the Land Cruiser that it hit.
