Air Canada is a monopoly and has been so ever since it was originaly a crown corporation playing dirty underhanded tricks on every other operator in the country.
Really? Canadian Airlines had about 45% of the domestic and international market in Canada. Now Westjet are at 35% and optimistically targeting 45% by the end of this year. Doesn't sound like much of a monopoly to me. Not to mention all the other companies now in operation here in the great white north flying overseas. Is there any expat out there who knows anything about Canada or AC itself? It would appear that some of you have'nt been too in touch with the reality back home. Must be all that money that causes ignorance.
