As for (airline etc) pensions and the normal US "frontier-mentality" that allows them to be grossly underfunded or "borrowed from", I'm still wondering how the USAirways pilots signed their T.A. a few years ago and afterwards discovered that their pensions were not included.
Who overlooked this, or was it typically complex language which was not analyzed much by the USAirways pilots' attorneys, or did pilots also "wear the attorney hat"?
What a nightmare. It is astounding that their former CFO has survived this long (top-notch 'kosher' bodyguards as with old Frank
in Houston?).
