I agree with you Alpha - you and Call make some good points.

I totally fail to understand anyone who tries to score points against anyone in here with personal comments and one-upmanship when people do not know each other - I too am a very happy little cog, which is relative - there are much littler cogs than I and much bigger ones.

I always thought that once the AESOPS scheme came in fully, the bonus would be sidelined and then stopped. Of course, the attendance payment for retrospective months would have to be paid to the security staff now left and money will be saved by paying for months to come.

More outsourcing will be in the offing of course. And with fewer and fewer employees - do they need e.g an Occupational Health department? Training and Development? IT? or can these services themselves be realistically outsourced and bought in when needed.

Cleaning, Fire and Security are not the end of the story. Where next?
