An abstract from a recent posting on the DTV site :-
Conspiracy theorists espouse the belief that the present situation is being deliberately engineered by Peel as a pre-cursor to closing the airfield "Teesside" permanently, with a view to turning the place into an housing development.
Whilst of course these rumours and theories could be easily quashed, management remain steadfastly silent on the subject. Direct communication between management and ATC within recent times has been a big fat zero.
Whilst I for one would not condone this line of thought which in all likelihood is total b
k's it does throw open the line of thought in NCL's ability (not!) to take up any slack........
