Dude,
Nobody's knocking the guys that got in, the theme here is/was the treatment of the guys that didn't
They ALL got the same speech after the flight, those who got in AND those who didnt.

And what's with the 80 percent failure rate of new captains?
It really is the million dollar question but CX has similar stats, and I hear VB are not far off.

Man what does the travelling public think about that?
As cheesy as it sounds I dare say they would take comfort in the thought they guy sitting up the front left made it though the upgrade where odds are not in ones favor. I would be concerned if noone had failed in 30 odd years.

You might find yourself without a large choice so unless your planning to stay in GA or pay for an endorsment your either going to be going overseas or your a slow learner. Good luck
