Ah - Thanks - I had heard word of a TV involvement.
A big player in the TV expose game - and they come the first couple of weeks of this new contract. On the one side seems unfair - yet sloppy standards ought not to have crept in.
All I can say is i really feel for any of the old airside staff who did a good job - always under pressure to adhere to the rules to the letter or risk the sack. How galling to lose your job and be replaced by this degree of lesser standards. I only hope the people in HIGH places who decided this policy and selected the provider of security services also pay for any breach of the standards with their jobs.
