Jeez, it looks like my decision to look elsewhere was not a bad one! I know two of the guys that got burnt by applying for Eagle and they are good buggers!?! My old instructor is a relatively new captain for them and he says that a common reaction to passing an Eagle check is that of "jeez I gotta update my CV with so-and-so before my next check"...... He is a captain and he should be enjoying his position shouldn't he? Not thinking about moving on. And what's with the 80 percent failure rate of new captains? Man what does the travelling public think about that? Surely the numbers are back to front. 80 percent of their copilots cant be that bad. Surely.
I know I have only just got out of GA and I can't be picky but water will always flow to the easiest gutter and if the easiest path pays 15 grand more than the most diffucult, one side is gonna get wetter than the other
