What's happened with ICTS?
Read this in the local press - talk around the airport of a TV expose in the offing. Seems knives are out for ICTS and they haven't helped matters with standards

"SEVERAL staff working at Birmingham International Airport have been suspended following a probe into security, airport bosses have revealed.
Bosses at The Airport Company, which runs the airport, said a number of staff had been suspended following allegations involving contractor ICTS.
ICTS provides security services for several airlines at the Bickenhill airport. A spokeswoman at the airport today remained tight-lipped over the nature of the allegations.
A statement read: "The Airport Company has been made aware, from a news agency, of allegations relating to the activities of ICTS - a third party contractor operating at Birmingham International Airport.
"An investigation has been launched with the contractor involved and the regulatory authorities. The allegations made relate to the contractor's provision of specialist security services to a small number of airlines at the airport.
"A number of the contractor's staff have been suspended while the investigations continue.
"The Airport Company's own security processes were not the subject of the allegations made.
"BIA's passenger security screening - used by everyone - does not form part of the investigation, nor does anyone in BIA's security department."
A Department for Transport spokesman said they had been made aware of the allegations. No-one was available for comment from ICTS."
