EK Engg Wins award for demotivated staff

Hi Blackhands and crink,
most of us out here don't find the time to access this site as we are always trying to catch up with something.
As soon as you enter work you are trying to catch a car, then its the aircrafts which have closed their doors for towing just when you arrive at the parking gate and then its trying to dodge the traffic in the airport as well as outside the airport.
everything apart from working conditions is generally good i.e., if you can afford it.
the present salaries might look attractive but if you think you are gonna save heaps of money to take back with you think again.
the greenback is falling against other currencies so whatever you have in your company provident fund might be peanuts by the time you leave as its all in $$.
safety wise its still ok except that sometimes you will face unreasonable demands like NLG retraction on the ramp due to lack of hangar space and time and unreasonable targets are set for you to acheive due time and weather constraints.
the management doesn't want to listen to reasons causing the problems but want to know who caused the problem?
if you want to come here then the grade has to be E3 or else don't think about it.
and your off days earnt can and will be utilised by the company as and when required ( at the moment 1 per month) but can increase. you can claim it back when suited to your manager.
City is good for family life.
All in all EK is still better off than other outfits in the region(middle east) but going downhill due demotivated staff and ever increasing workload and of course the inflation.
cheers
