Need to get my head around this Bangor fuel stop on a NCL-SFB 752 service. Firstly I'm no stranger to this 'inconvenience' as it was suffered annually on the family treck to FLA in the late 80's / early 90's on west bound 752's of any number of charter operators over the period. However I do recall that this stop was always scheduled in any event. However on the latter years of 752 ops on the route, I recall that the flight was scheduled non stop and actually did this, was it BY?? prior to the intro of 762's. So what actually is the criteria of weight sacrifice, or were BY 752's upgraded in some way? nb. apprecaited that if Ex LBA then obviously stop would be unavoidable. I think that irrespective of the above, then one is at a significant marketing (and cost) disadvantage in selling in 2007 a NCL- SFB with a stopover when there are other operators who may be operating a A332 or B762 non stop.
