Well techincally Jet2 could launch SSH as a charter destination as they have Jet2holidays.com, so maybe thats a way around and issuing regarding flying to Egypt.
Most of the 757s are undergoing ETOPS certification so im lead to belive, however we have heard strong rumours of EWR, SFB via BGR and YYZ, although we did here that JFK would be used as a mini hub to crew change and refuel on flgihts to SFO and SFB but its all galley FM at moment, I had heard other day that it could take up to a year to get all the planning together for ETOPS such as Engineering, flight crew training and I believe that the cabin crew will have to go back in the pool to train on life rafts as this wasnt done when they joined the company. The 767 has been going round for about 2 years now, first it was a 767-200ER so lets so what happens ..... LBA will be the first base to get it anyway
