as i said the whole thing in my opinion has totally been blown out of proportion! But as for the comments about crew counting, it was bags they believed to be over on as well as under pax! i dont believe it is cabin crew responsibility or job to get into the hold and count bags, if the handling agent and baggage handlers can't account for bags then the only way to solve it is a baggage id, as crew i would rather have a delayed aircraft than an unsafe one!
Also flight crew and cabin crew can't be blamed for holding the pax onboard, they go on what they are told by handling agents, engineers, ops etc. They were doing there job, i don't tihnk many crew want to be sat on the tarmac for hours on end as well as the pax!
Again in my opinion this could have happened to ANY airline, not just flyjet, however flyjet always seem to gain negative comments from people who know little about the compnay at all.
