Lets not forget that when BA pulled the route anyone that was booked on it had the choice to transfer over to LHR so quite a few pax will still do that.
Altho its an old route, the service to Jet2 is still new and I think you have to give them a bit of time to proove that they can do the serivce, there was a recent letter sent in regarding the service on Jet2 by an editor of a newspaper saying how outstanding it was.
Its like all routes launched by an airline, they take a little while to build up, Jets's PMI AGP services were a little quiet at first but they are building up now so about 200 per sector now.
With the time changes coming up it should get busier soon
