I did hear "fewer than 45%" the other day which is the first time I have picked up that error in reverse!

I must say though - I would never shoot the author. I have only written for one well known aviation magazine, and being quite meticulous about my (ab)use of the English langauge spent a great deal of time tweaking each and every 2000+ words for maximum effect and accuracy.

One week later, I was sent back the draft in .pdf form and not informed of small editorial changes in the text. A cursory inspection showed all was well and I was impressed with the layout, so I sent it back. To my horror I found later that there were minor editorial changes that caused major inaccuracies in the text.

These errors were insignificant enough that only people familiar with the story would pick them and would know the truth, but they are the people that know me, what I do and would say that I should know better!
