Ryanair - Cheapest Fares?

Just listening to a phone-in show.

Guy in Dublin wants to get to Liverpool on May 23rd and is shocked to find Ryanair charging 199.99 euro ONE WAY - BEFORE TAXES.

On the 16th of May (1 week earlier) the price is .01 euro (one way before taxes).

Go on line and check it for yourselves.

Why the difference?
Well I'll tell ya!

May 23rd is the day of the European Champions League Final in which Liverpool are playing.

So Ryanair (the CHEAP FARES airline) have recognised a golden opportunity to RIP OFF the football supporting public, and they're going for it in spades.

What a pity there's no credible competition on the Dublin - Liverpool route, eh!

Maybe things would've been different if Aer Lingus hadn't been thrown off the route in the mid 80's to 'protect' the struggling Ryanair.

See - competition works, monopolies don't.

This is the company which wants to have a monopoly on ALL routes out of Ireland?

Wants us to 'trust them' on pricing?
My ass!

Ryanair the low fares airline?
Bulls**t!

Another FR myth shot down in flames!
